Intelligence is needed for survival in this part of the world but wherever you are, be wise! Education gives one an edge over illiterates but do not use power recklessly. Information is power, use it well.
In all, do not see yourself as being inferior to anyone else. We all are human beings. So, do not have that feeling of being little but respect others and fear God. It is a way to go especially if you want to make heaven.
