Yes, you can. Life is not all about being idle. At times, we have to make that move because there is no one else than can do it for us. When you have a motive that is consistent with what God wants for you, the very best thing to do is to sharpen your tools and make things to happen.
I am not saying that it is not wise to request for help from one place or the other but in the absence of such an one that is able to provide such helps, put yourself together and braze up for the best. The very thing you need to succeed in life could actually be just beside you. Take that course, talk to that fellow, put yourself together and know that there is always the best to come.
